Hi, I’m Heidi! I’m the owner, grower, dreamer, and compost-slinger behind Sublime Gardens—and I’m so glad you found us!

We bought our 5-acre farm in Snohomish, WA about eight years ago. It’s a beautiful, west-facing property with to-die-for sunsets, and over the years, we’ve filled it with a quirky, lovable mix of mini donkeys, rescued sheep, spoiled chickens, and a horse with an uncanny resemblance to the one I grew up with.

Gardening has always been my passion, and it was a lifelong dream to have my own greenhouse and nursery. In 2017, we built our first hoop-house (which, let’s just say, took three times longer than expected) and launched Sublime Gardens. At the time, I was also running Sublime Garden Design, my landscape design company, growing many of the plants we used in our designs.

Then, in 2020, life led me to a crossroads. I had to choose between designing gardens or growing the nursery into something self-sustaining. It was a tough decision, but I stepped away from landscape design to fully embrace growing plants and guiding people to create thriving, beautiful gardens of their own.

Now, in 2025, Sublime Gardens has become so much more than a nursery. I’ve found my true calling—no longer in drawing up formal plans, but in helping people like you gain the knowledge and confidence to create their dream gardens through expert garden consultations and coaching. Others hire me to bring their gardens to life in a natural, intuitive way, through my plantscaping services. With over 20 years of experience,  I have gained the unique ability to envision exactly what your space needs and bring it to life using only my eyes and hands—your space as the canvas, and plants as my palette.
