Experience the warm hues of the desert with Echinacea ‘Moab Sunset’. This striking perennial features large, daisy-like blooms in shades of rich orange, copper, and coral, reminiscent of a breathtaking sunset over the Moab desert. With its robust growth and long-lasting blooms, ‘Moab Sunset’ adds a splash of color to any garden from mid-summer through fall.
Not just a visual delight, this variety of Echinacea is also a magnet for pollinators, drawing in bees, butterflies, and hummingbirds.
Care:
- Thrives in full sun. Water well as they are getting established, they require minimal watering once established and are fairly drought-resistant. Plant in well-drained soil that isn’t too rich, as overly fertile soil can lead to weaker, leggy growth. Leave flower remnants/seed for the birds over winter and cut back in February/March.
*Please note that hybrid varieties of Echinacea may not be true to seed, meaning that seeds collected from these plants may not produce offspring with the same characteristics as the parent plant.
