Low maintenance, deciduous, compact, mounded shrub with great multi-seasonal interest! Clusters of small, white flowers in late spring/early summer stand out against the dark green birch-like shaped leaves. Come fall, the foliage turns deep red, purple and orange! The foliage makes a wonderful long-lasting greenery for cut flower bouquets. Deer resistant and drought tolerant once established. Matures at 2-3′ tall and wide. Prune in late winter to early spring to remove flower remnants.
